For as long as I can remember, I have felt “different.” As a child, I couldn’t explain how I just knew things or why I was compelled to physically touch those who I felt were in emotional or physical pain. I was amazed when thoughts or dreams that I had would happen days later. In my teens as my gifts expanded, I was frightened by the voices that I could hear, knowing that they were not my own, and the “sightings” of beings that were not of this earthly plane. I kept it all a secret, fearing that if anyone knew what was going on with me, they would surely fit me for a straight-jacket and lock me up.
In my adult years, I learned more about my gifts of spiritual intuition, called clairs. There are 6, coinciding with our physical abilities and senses:
Clairvoyance – seeing
Claircognizance – knowing
Clairsentience – feeling
Clairaudience – hearing
Clairalience – smelling
Clairgustance – tasting
Still not fully understanding all that I had been gifted with, I used these sparingly in my 20's and 30's. During this time I dabbled… I saw and talked with spirits, I empathetically knew what people were going through and offered silent prayer, I telepathically communicated with my dogs, I meditated and communicated with angels and spirit guides. I lived some of my life in denial, and most of my life with my gifts hidden. It wasn’t until I found Reiki that I knew it was time to come out of my “metaphysical closet.” I was blessed to find an external outlet for my gifts with Reiki. I studied Usui Holy Fire Reiki from 2015 to 2016 under Myra Partyka at All That Matters in Wakefield, RI.
Song of Your Soul started out as a dream… literally. A very vivid dream about a possible future where I own and operate a healing equestrian center. Since then, the universe has put me on this path, including becoming a Reiki master, learning the art and science of essential oils and Raindrop, learning about crystals and stones, exposing me to numerology, creating experiences for me to teach and give Reiki, and expanding my gifts to include animal communication, offering experiences for me to communicate with dogs, cats, horses. I've also gone through some heart-breaking experiences that have shaped my journey and brought depth and gratitude to my soul evolution.
I have had some amazing experiences in this lifetime. Unexplained mysteries have come to me through the Divine. I will share my stories with you here, as blog posts. In doing so, perhaps you will find that we have a connection. Maybe I can help you or a loved one (person or pet). Or maybe I can help you come out of your metaphysical closet through learning more about Reiki.
